The Girls open for Coco Montoya
Sunday, September 14th, 2008Last night the Sledge Grits band performed at the Oldemeyer Center in Seaside. They had a blast! The band was the opening act for the world reknowned blues artist Coco Montoya. He was amazing! Not only was he an amazing musician he was a great person. He spoke with the girls and took pictures with them and brought them on stage.
This first song is an original song “Why” That was written by Momma Sledge… But, arranged by Keiko.
The Show itself was so fun… There was a great crowd and the support for the girls was wonderful! The sound was amazing… (My camera doesn’t do the sound people justice….) It was a great night.
Thank you to the City of Seaside… The Monterey Bay Blues Festival…. Dennis Murphy…. Magic 63…. Coco Montoya… the sound people…. and everyone who came out to show support…..
